MEET VALERIA

Licensed Professional Counselor

National Certified  Counselor

For as long as I can remember, I have felt drawn to walk with people in their needs. At the core of who I am, I see goodness in people and recognize that their worth is priceless and their story is sacred.  I believe that nobody should say “This person will never change”because hope belongs to them. Despite  circumstances, we deserve second chances, and no matter what you have gone through, we all have something beautiful and unique to contribute to this world – the gift of YOU.

My formal education includes a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University, Beaumont-TX, Clinical Pastoral Chaplain, from the Pastoral Education Center at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen-TX, and a Bachelor of Education from ANEP- Uruguay and from The Catholic University of Uruguay, combined.

Consultation

Not everyone who comes to see a counselor

has a mental or emotional disorder.

A lot of people seek out help for personal problems, such as

self-esteem issues, parenting, relationships, and spiritual concerns.

Whatever your need is, I am here for you.

I believe in the dignity of each person and treating others with kindness, compassion, and respect. As a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Texas (License # 83785), I provide the highest standard of care to help clients overcome real-life struggles.

I use my skills learned as a counselor, educator, and chaplain to confidently use a whole-person approach to therapy for lasting results.

I provide therapy in a safe and accepting environment as clients learn to know themselves in a deeper level, heal and regain the peace that God has for them.
